Polymer products
1. Polypropylene:
Polypropylene (PP) is a type of thermoplastic additive polymer made from a combination of propylene monomers. It is used in various applications, including consumer product packaging, plastic parts for various industries, including the automotive industry, special devices, textiles, and packaging. Polypropylene is a non-toxic and odorless material that turns into molten droplets when burned like a candle, and its flames are smokeless. The characteristics of polypropylene include its lightness, hardness, chemical resistance, and flexibility.
2. Polyethylene
Polyethylene is a thermoplastic polymer with a variable crystal structure and a wide range of applications. It is one of the most widely used plastics produced in the world, with tens of millions of tons produced worldwide annually. There are different types of polyethylene, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) is much more crystalline and is often used in completely different conditions than low-density polyethylene (LDPE).
3. Polystyrene
Polystyrene is one of the most special chains, and the most important feature of polystyrene is the incorporation of van der Waals bonds in the shortest possible time in the polymer chains. The longer these carbon chains become, the greater their tensile strength, and this is exactly what makes polystyrene so effective. But in simpler terms, polystyrene is a polymer blend, or very hard plastic raw material: its types are:
General Purpose Polystyrene GPPS
Expandable Polystyrene EPS
High Impact Polystyrene HIPS
4.PVC
Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC is a thermoplastic polymer that is produced in hard and flexible forms. PVC is one of the most valuable and widely used products of the petrochemical industry and its uses are unlimited. PVC is widely used in the construction industry due to its reasonable price and ease of use. Today, PVC has become a suitable alternative to traditional materials such as wood, cement and pottery in construction. This material can be easily combined with additives and plasticizers and structures with different properties can be produced from it.
5-PET
Polyethylene terephthalate can be converted into fibers, fabrics, packaging sheets, etc. PET is naturally very flexible, colorless and semi-crystalline. Depending on its production process, it can be produced in a semi-hard or hard state. PET has good dimensional stability, high impact resistance, and is resistant to moisture, alcohol, and chemical solvents. PET grades available on the market are unreinforced, glass fiber reinforced, flame retardant, and more.
6- Compound
Products such as automotive parts, electronic equipment, packaging, and even household appliances have improved and unique properties that distinguish them from other products. The secret to these differences lies in the use of compounds. Compounds significantly improve the physical and chemical properties of materials by combining base polymers with various additives. Compounds are polymer compounds that are used to make many of the items we use today.
7- ABS
ABS plastic is one of the most important and widely used terpolymers commercially produced. Its full name is acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, which is an expensive, amorphous, opaque polymer. This polymer is used in the automotive industry, the production of electrical appliances, and the construction of the bodies of household appliances, including vacuum cleaners, telephones, tea makers, etc. As the full name of this polymer suggests, ABS is composed of three components: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene, and its use can be modified by changing the percentage of each of these monomers.
